I personally like using rat pinks/pups over mice. The snakes of mine that will feed on rats tend to look a lot healthier, and most importantly don't crave food all of the time.

I also like the fact that I'm not using 3 mice in one feeding to a single snake, where I can go with a single rat pup instead. It just makes more sense to me economically.
