Just a thought, since we all like the internet... Maybe a site instead of a book? You could print out the text only definition page if you wanted to take it to a show. I pay $30/month to keep my site up, so I know it's not cheap, and I don't sell any animals that could even buffer that cost, I just do it for fun. There are ways to charge people for access to a site. Once the actual cost of putting it together and maintaining it was figured, and the # of interested people was established, that would determine the annual fee to access it. Hopefully it would end up under $5 per year. Not only could you do the 'official' descriptions of the morphs, there could be pics of ea morph as hatchling, youngster, and adult, plus multiple pics for morphs that have variety like Amels do. There could be a section for new discoveries, articles by breeders 'experimenting' with different combinations and their results to keep everyone up to date. It could be a lot of fun. I tried to do something like that (the morph part at least) with my Cornsnake Gallery, but the descriptions I have on the Morph pages are no where near "official", I'm not sure they are even all correct (I was counting on people emailing me to tell me if I've made a mistake). It would be nice to see something like that on a grander scale. Just a thought. I like books too and would probably buy it at least the first time. Would only buy new additions if there was multiple changes though. Neat idea, seems to have spurred a lot of interest already! Good luck.
