It seems to me that what you are saying is that a small group of people should set a standard and everyone should live with it.The thing about those infamous price guides is that the prices in those books was supposed to be just a guide and NOONE I ever saw graded there product fairly usually one or two grades better than it was, and the prices were outrageously high for the midwest a book or stamp rated at 25.00 you would be lucky to get five for here.These books only serve one purpose and that is to jack up the price of whatever is listed on it's pages!
