calico and pi-balds SHOULD be two different traits in MY mind......
and as far as scabs and blisters coming off to reveal "pi-baldism"..yea,,,right..I have had animals get little problems with a scale or two..and then it turns white....big deal...my carpets have some scales with no or white pigment now...I have seen it in Balls....carpet....corn...kings....rainbow boas
so..it's a stressed?..or .hurt scale...it may have had the pigment "die".(for lack of a word)
no pigment producing cells.it turns white....is not a reproducable trait in this type of changing
(this is my opinion)
I do not like to have a snake with "hurt " scales
have fun..Jeffrey Yohe
