Hi, it is pretty easy if you just remember to water it, and looks nice and green and natural anywhere you put it, also some like to snack on it ! Also Aloe plants look pretty desert like and put near a window do pretty well. And the good ole fake things come in handy if you are really that DEADLY towards LIVE ones LOL Just enjoy doing it they don't care much as long as they have a place to run, they coul care less about the interior decorating, its more for us I think ! :0) Eve
