Yesterday I noticed a hole in the ground ( in lizard pen) roughly 1.5 inches in diameter and very deep but did not see anything different, as far as animals. I figured a young chuck must have taken a wrong turn under some rocks and had to chew his way out. Today I got home from work and was looking around ( just like everyday!!) and presto---- a DESERT IGUANA!!! As far back as Sept I thought I only had one DI left in the A.C. (After Cats) which would have been the one that died shortly after emerging 4-6 weeks ago. This came as a complete surprise today. It is a male who has already started head bobbing at me. I hope this one makes it!!! Now to find him a girlfriend!
