Desert Iguanas are fairly similar to chucks as far as captivity is concerned. LARGE CAGES, HOT ( 100-120 F basking spot), mostly veggies ( DI's will go for a few more bugs that chucks), mostly open habitat ( less rocks than chucks) due to their hauling buns habits. They also spend a lot of time underground ( more on that in the NEXT post!!!!) Do about 100 searchs and try to incorporate most of what you read--- just remember------ wide open hot, dry, sandy desert flats with creosote & a few scattered shrubs.

Good Luck

David
