:Have you looked at the species profiles on www.adcham.com or www.chamresearch.com? You could also email one of the adcham owners for help, but they'll want a pic. Also check with the editor of the e-zine chameleonnews.com. I can't tell from your description, but white lines as you describe might be elloti or a related species. You'll probably be looking for a Bradypodion sp. rather than a Chameleo sp. Many of the Chameleo and Furcifers are from Madagascar rather than Africa.
