Pine shavings in my crix tank?? Please read

The shavings I bought have no dust associated with them. Also, the bag was labelled as having no oils as well.

What I'm planning is buying about 500 at a time, which will last about 3 weeks between my herps. With the pine shavings, I get a lot less odor and I'll only have to clean the tank when there are no more crix in it. No crix = no hassle.
