If you want a male panther because they are SOOO gorgeous, I suggest getting one five months or older. I had my heart set on an Ambanja and drove almost 2 hours to get one. Then he turned out to be a she! lol. I probably should have known when I got her, but she's my first, and I hadn't a clue.
Also, they are a lot hardier after 5 months. :)
