My crickets stink! Help me out!

:Currently I keep about 500 crickets at a time in a big rubbermaid bin w/ plenty of egg crate, food and water bites. About a week after getting a new shipment, I have to clean out the whole bin because it stinks so bad.

I had the same problem when I ordered 1000 for my chams......The best thing I found is to use oatmeal as a substrate... since i started this.... haven't had much of a smell at all plus it's good for them to eat!
