i would imagine you are feeding him smaller (3/8"-1/2" or so) crickets, so i'd feed him what he will eat at this age. my chams have always been good eaters, and when they're young, i feed them what they will eat. make sure you're feeding him dusted crickets. a growing cham needs the calcium and vitamins in the supplements (i use rep-cal products). i feed my young panther twice a day.

:hi :) we have a baby panther who, after shedding twice, has developed a seemingly insatiable appetite -- he will sit on the feeding bowl (which is near the bottom of his screen cage) for hours, as if he's waiting for food to appear. as it is, we feed him 5-6 small crickets at first, but then we will offer him more and he snaps them up. he is about 4.5" in length. how many crickets should he be eating? we don't want to deprive him of what he needs, and we didn't think chams would overeat -- are we doing something wrong? any help would be appreciated! thanks!
