So your keeping them together??? That is probably a mistake even if they are male and female. You can't blame the male chameleon, he is just being his territorial self. Chameleons in general should be kept in separate enclosures whether male or female.
: I have recently became a new owner of a pair of senegal chameleons. I am looking for any info i can about the species of chameleons. I have a male and a female and the male violently attacks the female. At first i thought that this might be mating behavior but the male doesn't mate and just attacks. I am taking the male to the pet store where i got the senegal's to see what they know and i might get rid of him. if you have any info on this or anything on senegal chameleons besides temps and how they have more parasites (mine are perfectly healthy) please e-mail me asap.
: thanks
