I stumbled upon this forum completely by accident. After learning about a Central Florida Herp Society, I did some research and found a web site. The web page did not work. Then I found a contact name and sent an e-mail. After a week and a second e-mail to the contact, I got a very brief reply that did not give me any useful information. Another e-mail sent to the contact was answered after another week with even less information. My inquiries were about the club and sources for Leopard and Fat-tail Geckos. In frustration, I gave up and decided to look elsewhere. The purpose of my writing this is simply that I still do not know anything about this group and would like to be able to see what it is like and possibly join. I'm a surprised to see that the contact listed proves to be of actually very little use in giving potential new members information. This kind of indifference will not help membership grow (maybe that is the point). RR
