RES vitamin A shot - overdose?

A vet gave my red ear slider a vitamin A shot yesterday. Ever since I brought her home she has been acting strange and getting worse. She would not eat last night. She was gasping for air this morning. Now she will hardly move unless touched and wont open her eyes. I am taking her to a different vet this afternoon (she has been in surgery all day). Does anyone have a turtle that was given a vitamin A shot or know anything about it? Thanks.
