They do look quite plump for being this far along, but I haven't done anything to make them that way. I originally placed them in the container in a 1:3 mixture as I usually do. The only thing I could say is that this 3 week stretch of monsoon season we have had may have contributed (temp/humidity etc.) Another breeder on another forum said that he had this happen to him last year, said he scraped away the ooze and actually placed a sticker over the leak. Said the egg hatched perfectly 2 weeks later.


: It sounds like you may have kept the eggs too moist. At two weeks prior to hatch, eggs normally collapse quite a bit. How did you have them set up? Leave the others alone if they start to ooze. They should be okay this late in the game.
