Just moved here from Chicago and decided to go tromping through the "Real Florida". Not much luck. Found some tiny chorus frogs a brown anole and a dead, bloated black bear. That was smelly. It was overcast. I don't know the good herping spots so I was just blindly searching. I bet if you found a nice area on one of these cool yet sunny days, you could find a bunch of snakes basking.
