That was a really hateful post. It's been so hostile on here lately. I'll tell you what I know about about the genetics of striped coastals. There are coastals who simply have fused dorsal blotches, and these are not genetic, at least not as a mutation that can passed on right away. Then there are the other striped coastals, some call them tiger carpets, which are a genetic mutation. They're supposedly co-dominant, but I've never heard of a "super" form that's been produced, so they might only be dominant. These second striped coastals tend to have cleaner, straighter stripes and brighter colors.

Katt's looked somewhere in between these two. That's why I asked if hers was genetic.
