Hi all,

i think that it could be a bloodline problem, because diamonds are produced all over australia with relative ease, many keepers i know just keep them about 2 degrees celcius colder than Jcps and breed successfully year in year out. They cool to about 16 degrees at night, and day time highs of about 24 degrees celcius in the breeding season and have a lot of success.i have kept a few Diamonds and kept them the same as jungles and found them to be easier to work with than Jungles.
I gave them the same food, same everything, just through winter, they are cooled down just a little below the jungles, for some keepers all this mean is for tanks stacked up three high, heated by heat lamps, the diamonds were placed in the bottom tank, with all three tanks run by one thermostat in the middle tank. The middle tank would be set at 25 degrees in the day and 18 degrees at night, the bottom tank would always be a little colder than the top two and is perfect conditions for Diamonds.

cheers
Mark
