Hi JakeM, yep i have read pythons of the world, vol1. They are still very strict down here, but have got a lot easier to deal with. Also depends what state you are in.Im in South Australia and they are pretty good.Sydney can be a little strict and western australia is very strict.Even when you are dealing between states you have to get the apprpriate import and export permits, sometimes they are very slow and this annoys ppl, i have found adelaide and melbourne to be very quick, sydney and western australia are very slow taking up to 2 or more weeks on occasion. You do hear of those horror stories where whole collections get confiscated, but have never personally known anyone who has had this happen.Basically they are like the police, as long as you do the right thing they are fine, if you dont WATCH OUT.Dont get on the wrong side of them. They sometimes do spotchecks and check up where you got your animals etc, sometimes their office dont get the paperwork done and you find that they dont have all your animals recorded, and then you have to explain where you got them etc.I have never had any problems with them....touch wood.I better not say too much bad stuff.....THEY MIGHT BE WATCHING! lol seriously they could be.

cheers

Mark
