You saw the parents of my Irian Jayas. Their father was one dark mofo and look how his kids turned out. You really never know with Carpets. You may very well end up with a couple of babies that turn out better than your females.


:I don't know what I'd breed her to. The other mature male jungles in my collection pretty much suck compared to her, and I want the project to move forward-not backward. The only male that I have that I'm definitely planning on breeding with the 50/50s is that black and white male. He's just now a little over 200g, so that will be a while. As for my other female, I'm not sure when she'll be ready to breed. She's a little over 800g right now.
