:I have a IJCP that I am keeping as a pet. I was told that since I am not breeding it, the temperatures can be kept the same 24 hours a day. I was wondering if this was true or not. The temps that I have it at now are about 90 degrees basking, 80-85 degrees on the hot end, and 75 degrees on the cool end. Are these temps good and can they be kept there all day and night? Thanks a lot!

I am no expert, by far, but those temps sound great. Just make sure they have a dark cycle of about 12 hours. In the winter, I leave a ceramic heater on at night. Before I bought the ceramic heater, I left a night light bulb on (one of those Zoo-Med night lights) which also worked fine.
