Hello I will be getting some snakes that require high humidity, I'm using the old "sphagnum in a cup" trick to help out with that.

#1 I have never worked with sphagnum before anything I should know?

#2 This is some fairly smelly stuff(when wet anyways), will this be problematic?

Oh yes, the brand is Hiawatha green moss.
