I know from experience that the mats can go as high as 120 degrees, maybe higher. Luckily I didn't fry my snake, but I would be careful! I always use thermostats with my UTHs; I find them to be more reliable and less hassle than using a dimmer.

:I think since it runs tops 100 degrees putting it under one of the hidea boxes with a bit of substrate over it might be good.Anyone use it like this?
