I thought there was a higher watt version as well. There are a lot of self-balasted mercury vapor bulbs out there so I'm sure you can find what you want.

Many years ago I bought ceramic light fixtures made for Pearlco ceramic heat emitters. They are rated for 600 watts. Maybe there are still some of those around.

In a pinch I could sell you some of mine if you have no luck finding the right fixture.
