What generally causes the generation of gas is the decomposition and resulting "fermentation" of botanical matter. So perhaps what the rabbit has in it's stomach,.. (rabbit pellet grain, alalfa, hay, etc) could be the culprit. I personally make sure that my snake food items have a full stomach so as to provide for any possible nutrients or vitamins that they are intended to benefit from secondarily,.. but you could try putting your rabbits off of food 8-12 hours prior to feeding. I myself have never noticed an overwhelming amount of gas in my snakes, but they do all have what I consider to be "normal levels" of it when they defecate/urinate.

:have you tryed switching what you feed her. maybe give her large rats one meal and see if that helps. rabbits might give her gas, the same as certian foods give people gas.
