:of who is producing snakes that end up in rescue. I am a dog person and the whole idea of rescue etc has been long with us. What about chipping the snakes so that when they end up in rescue you, as the breeder, know that one of you babies was dumped? We can go into the whole, responsible for the lives you produce thing...but that truly floats better in the fuzzy mammal world. But really, what about it?

Thats actually a good idea.At least it would give the breeders and rescuers and idea of how many of these animals are being cared for properly.Dont know how well it would work but its very feasable. The only downfall would be the expense of chipping so many animals at once.If one was to start out small say with 1 or 2 individual breeders and see the conclusive evidence of how many actually wind up in rescues then maybe we could have something to work with and then regulate to an extent.
