I don't know what the yellow discharge would be, but maybe you need to put a bigger water bowl in his cage. I know mine likes to soak in the water and even deficate in the bowl sometimes! I think the water help them if they are backed up! Or better yet you can soak him in some warm water. If that doesn't work or you see more yellow discharge call the vet and ask what it could be. Keep up updated on his health.
