Male Pituophis

I was wondering if with your male pituophis,is it better to keep the temps a little lower to help keep there sperm count up and if so is a temp 80-82 warm side good.I know this really dosen't hurt there digestion that much or am I mstaken.Any help would great.THANKS,P-RAT
