I've finally confirmed that the adult pair of "Southern Pines" I got in November are really Louisianas. I don't know how I got that lucky and they slipped through 2 people's hands but that's what happened. They might even be unrelated but I guess I'll never know that for sure. The female is more traditional looking. The male is bright yellow with very well defined markings and I'm sure they'll make beautiful offspring. I wanted to breed them this year but the female came to me with a pretty sever nose rub and I wanted her to be healed before I put her through the stress of brumation. She's healing very nicely and will definitely be ready by next season. I can't wait to see what happens. Also, I'll post pics for others opinions as soon as possible.
