I don't consider myself extremely experianced, but I do work in a pet store that sells farm-bred balls. I make an effort to warn customers about them not eating. I also tell customers how much time and effort we put into de-worming them, and getting rid of ticks and mites. Essentially....we don't sell many. Why do we continue to carry them? No idea.
