And I absolutely respect your right to feed live prey. Just wanted to make sure that the person who asked the question understood all of the potential problems before making an uninformed decision. Good luck and continued health to your snake, and you, too. Duffy


:I will agree that biologically speaking, -frozen, pre-killed prey removes practically all chances of harm(infection,bites) to your snake. I always use a reputable supplier of clean rats for my snakes and will admit that in 6 years my boa was bitten once.
:My only point is that my being "into it" includes all aspects of snake/reptile fascination that includes their inherent efficiency at killing as WELL AS habits, beauty, handling, etc.
