The two previous posts make some excellent points. One thing I would add is if you could look for some reptile shows coming to your area soon. There you will be able to talk to actual breeders and handpick your snake from a good selection. You will also not pay as much for the snake. You still have to be careful as far as looking for clean healthy animals but this has worked for me. Its also just fun to walk around and look at everything. Hope this helps.
