Brian was right on all counts, I'd just like to emphasize that the snake will clear up from blue BEFORE it sheds. So don't worry that the snake ate it or something, you'll see it when they shed. I've seen a ton of newbie posts on this (Where's the shed? They're all new and pretty, do snakes eat their sheds??), and figured I might spare some worry. With my first snake, I had to go to camp (for three weeks, luckily she ate a huge meal the day I left) right when she went into blue, and was so worried that she wasn't going to have a good shed... so I understand the worry. ;) Good luck!
