The usual shotgun treatment for snakes is Flagyl and Panacur. Flagyl could be administered before you even do a fecal exam. My best advice, however would be to buy captive bred animals if they are available! You'll avoid a lot of headaches, and you won't be doing an unnecessary injustice to a wild animal.
Quarantine is a must regardless of w/c or c/b. Other than those additions I agree with tortoiseman's post!
