:Question, I have a small argument going on with a friend of mine. He has a Boa that has what looks to me like 3 scars on his back. HOWEVER, he says they have been there since the Boa was born. ??
:Now if they are scars, when the Boa sheds, would the scar shed also or leave a hole in the shed where the scar was? I assumed they would leave a hole in the shed.
:Well, this Boa just shed, all 3 of the places I thought were scars DID shed as well. In fact, the boa shed in 1 piece. When I unwrapped the shed skin you can clearly see the marks in the shedding and they did not leave a hole or anything like I thought. I was thinking a scar or skin damage would NOT shed. So who is right.. is is possible these are not damaged scales?
:Anyone have a Boa with a KNOWN scar.. do they shed as well?
:Now the marks are still there, I just mean when the Boa shed the shed skin clearly shows the marks. I was under the impression that there would only be a hole if it was a scar or damage.
