I use neither heat-pads nor vision cages to begin with.
And I blame bad housing conditions of boids where ever I see it. No matter if it's Germany or Peru or the Falkland Islands.

If the people are too poor to provide proper housing conditions they should refrain from keeping boas.

You know what? I would love to have an elephant! Really! And do you know why I don't have one? Because I am too poor to provide such an animal with the proper conditions. My garden is too small, I have no stable for it and I am afraid I can't afford the food for an elephant. Thus I must abstain.
If you think the housing conditions of these boas are OK you should emigrate to China. This is the right place for people who are utmost ruthless to animals.
