given the fact that the origin of the hypos can only be verified through second hand (or further) sources to their origin of panama, these animals (for the most part, I realize there are now hypos that are supposedly 100% colombian) are already locality crosses (PanamanianXColombian), the purity issue is just a bit lost on them. And yes, I know that Panama and Colombia share a border, but that border is only about 100 miles long and... well, I just woke up and don't feel like arguing, but I think my point can be seen.
I don't think the PanamanianXColombian issue is a big deal honestly. I think if we're going to consider Leticia Colombians as part of the "Colombian" family of boas, that we should consider Panamanian boas in that same family. Take a look here and you'll see what I mean. Have a good one, I'm off!
