: I recently had a dispute with a friend of mine who claims to have owned two 24 ft Burmese Pythons. I told him that he had the second largest burms in the world, because to my knowledge the current largest "known" snake in the world is a 25 ft Burm named "Baby". Then he said he knew a guy that had/has a 26 ft Burm. What I wan't to know is, what is currently the largest known snake in the world? If I'm rite and Baby is the largest, then who knows what zoo she is kept at, so I can contact them and verify the matter. Also a customer came into a pet shop that I work at and told me he (thinks)he saw somthing on TV about someone capturing a 70 FT!!! Green Anaconda, dose anyone know anything about that? Any (on & off-line)refrences etc. where I can get more info would be helpfull. Thanks
Baby used to be at the Serpent Safari in Wisconsin Dells. She is now kept at the newest Serpent Safari located in Gurnee, Illinois at the Gurnee Mills Shopping Mall. They claim she is 27' long and weighs 404 lbs.
