It may not be the best e-mail they'll receive, but every voice counts! I have read some of your responses to concerned consumers regarding your calender. I've read what seems to be saying, that your company didn't have full details of the organization they had banded together with for this project. The HSUS strives to pass legislation on many areas of our free lives. They have a very close minded approach to the things they attack, and spread what little fact they have as thin as they can to make it seem as though they're truly right! A good observation of these things would be quotes by Doctors. These doctors are usually not a doctor in any field directly related to their task at hand in banning yet another freedom. Usually you'll do a little research to find a psychologist or what have you is their "doctor says" individual. Sorry to say, and though it may not impact your profits much, my family will not be buying your products in the future. I think what you intended to do was honorable, I feel your partnership should've been better researched. As an employee of a county animal shelter, and one that must perform euthanasia on a daily basis, I feel I have a pretty good feel for the reality of POOR pet owners-The HSUS does not help us in any way. They promote NO KILL, yet we receive animals from people referred to us by the HSUS. They may not kill in house, but they don't hesitate to send them to their deaths somewhere else. Keeps their paperwork nice and clean. They also promote all this humanity, yet they feel a HUMANE way to kill a snake is to chop it's head off with a shovel. I have the documentation to prove this statement as it is in their Euthanasia handbook. You tell me, how many whacks would it take YOU to take off a snakes head? Though you may not like them, does it make their lives any less valuable? Should we chop off cat heads in this manner? Do you think they would recommend that as they do for reptiles or would someone go to jail for felony cruelty? FELONY would be the correct answer, yet this is their means for disposing of a snake! See my point here?? Please consider pulling your current project! Thanks for your time, if you made it this far-I commend you. If you would like any proof of my statements here, feel free to request them and I will be sure you get them promptly.
