Longtail Goliath lizard problems!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a full Grown longtail, and today it went to do its business, but i noticed it was almost bloody like and almost looked like its insides were coming out. it was obviously uncomfortable for him, and this might sound gross but he just like pulled it back in!!
Does anyone know what this might be?? if so please get back to me thanks in advance!
