hi I never owned any lizards and I intend on sticking to turtles but this afternoon I noticed a large iguana on my back yard palm tree. It looked like the small anoles that I ocasionally see around there but this one was huge compared to the ordinary lizard. it was about 10-15 inches, I wont get near it since I am not the lizard enthusiast. I dont plan on getting rid of it but I just want to classify it. I tried to take some close-up pics but every time it sees me it shifts to the oposirte side of the branch he is hanging on.
I am excited since I never have really had a back yard iguana(except for the occasional over sized lizards) but this one is really big.
he has a bright green witht he bright yellow striped face.
any help would be greatly appreciated!
