Won't eat his greens!

Hi all!

I've recently acquired my first beardy (although I've worked with plenty before). He's almost a year old now so I guess he classes as sub-adult and has settled in well and is growing really fast! :)

Thing is, he loves his crickets and waxworms but as of yet has turned his nose up at any fruit or veggies offered to him. I've tried just about everything....greens (like spinach, rocket, endives and kale), veggies (like shredded carrots and sweet potato) and fruit (like chopped bananas, plums and berries) but he just won't take any of it.

Any suggestions? Am I trying to feed him fruit and veggies too soon? I'm probably just being the over-protective mother and worring for no reason, but I like to be on the safe side.

Thanks in advance!

Em
