You should be safe for a few more months. Our wes had to separate by five-six months, but we had one male we had to separate at 4 months. We seemed to be an early developer and making mating signs.

There have been 5 month old females that have accidently breed and produced eggs, this of course is way too young and risky to their health. Same for a male, their muscles are not developed at that age for breeding and you can have some serious problems like prolapses.
