My BD isn't eating much. I am treating him for hookworms, but making sure he is getting a lot of water.
He WILL eat when I hand feed him. Ever since I bought 100 mealworms he won't touch his salad. I bought some silkworms and he'll eat those too. Just not his salad. He will eat a few crickets too, but not as much as he use to.
My BD is 232g. and 8 months.
Could he be addicted to mealworms/silkworms? Or just likes to be hand fed. I even tried hand feeding salad..but nope.
I tried putting a silkworm in with the salad. He can right down and ate the silk...then when up and basked after. The little bugger.
Should I just feed him mealworms or silks for a while. Or stop feeding works all together. I can do that becuase he is on meds....and may not eat his salad.
Any suggestions......again he is getting lots of water.
Thanks,
Liz
