My Beardie has been acting very strange lately. He/She(?) is about 9 months old and has been doing alot of digging. (several weeks now) He has not been eating his greens only crickets lately and has not been going to the bathroom at all. I have been away for two days and decided to give him a warm soak because I saw that he hadn't gone since I had been gone. He is lying in a place he has never before and when I went to pet him he hissed at me. So I put some of his favorite foods (mealworms) in his dish and he didn't do anything. I even tried to feed to him by hand which he loves and still no reaction. Is he sick? Is he a she and getting ready to lay eggs? What about brumation? Should I take to the vet? Should I turn off the lights? I don't want anything to happen to this guy. He has become a family pet and I am truly worried. Any help and suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
