Thanks. My setup is fine, and has worked to years. First of all the rocks are glued together to form a series of caves. Second yes the bottom was raised to reach the correct temp on the basking spot, but there is a wooden false floor about 2 inches under the substrate and about half an inch from the walls. I could not afford that much substrate even if I wanted to.
