In Reply to: hyper beardie male.. is he ready to breed? posted by kristin on May 05, 2003 at 08:32:18:

: my male beardie 'jimmi' has been out of brumation for a couple of months now and is SO HYPER. he runs around the cage all day trying to get out. he has always been active, but this is WAY more. and this morning, i went in the room to feed them, he saw me and flared out and gaped like i was the freakiest thing he had ever seen. but i ALWAYS go in there in the morning and many times in the evening. he sees me all the time.
: so i thought maybe he is just ready to mate? or moody? any thoughts on this are very very appreciated. thank you! -k
