If you truly had two males together, you just got lucky that they didn't fight, and I wouldn't bet on it happening again. My beardies are all males and they start fighting when I bring the one from in the other room in my bedroom. Also if the big one in my bedroom sees me feeding the little one, especially feeding can a crickets, he gets mad. I would say that your case is an exception to the norm. Either that or they were improperly sexed. In the case that they were improperly sexed, maybe you had two females, because at that age it is possible that if one were a male, he would have tried to mate with the female.
