shed skins?

My little guy shed againn last night, last shed was march 11, so is this normal (every 2 months.)? Had him in a humidity chamber (tupperware bowl with moist sphagnum) since his eyes turned blue, and had a perfect 1-piece shed. He crapped too, is this normal during shedding?
Also, what do you guys do with all your shed skins? I kept the first one and used it as a decor item (if you can imagine that, I have weird tastes in home decor) and happily, the new shed is about 2-3 inches longer than that one, so we must be growing here!
